Outfit 196 - Black Polka Dot Shirt with White Jeans

Thursday, April 19, 2018

Hi guys, today, I would like to announce that my husband and I have moved back to the United States. We lived in Germany for 3 years and it really went by so fast. I was able to see my family & friends and eat German food again. I really enjoyed the time there. But yea, we are happy to be back in the U.S. and we now residing in Moore, Oklahoma which is not really far from downtown Oklahoma City.

To get to know Oklahoma a little more, we decided to take a trip to the beautiful Bricktown district of downtown Oklahoma City. We took a cruise through the canal to get a glimpse of this area and it was a really nice and enjoyable ride. The captain was entertaining and he shared lots of facts and history about the city.

We parked in a park house next to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. When you reach the rooftop of it, you can get an amazing view of the stadium and the city. It's worth parking there :)

Black Polka Dot Shirt

Right next to the park house we spotted a huge building with an beautiful octopus mural. I decided to have my outfit picture taken there. On this day, I wore a black polka dot shirt from Primark with a pair of white jeans from Tally Weijl. It was super windy and put my hair in a bun, otherwise my hair would fly in every direction :)

Would you like to see more pictures of Oklahoma City? Just let me know and leave a comment below my post :)

My Vanity Table + My Makeup Collection from 2017

Saturday, April 14, 2018

I thought I would share my favorite vanity table that I once got from my husband for my birthday. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the online store where he ordered it from, but I found some similar ones for you that you can find at the end of the post. I'm obsessed with it. This is where I do my make up every single day or my day & night face care routine.

Here is a little overview of my favorite vanity:

I try to keep my desk area as minimal as possible so I have enough room. On my left side of the vanity i got a mirrored tray that I once found at Marshalls. I store my lotion, my perfumes, and some of my face care products on it.

On the right side of the vanity are my make up brushes that I keep in glasses. I got them from a decoration store called "Das Depot". Next to it is my mirror that I use to do my make up. Behind the mirror and the glasses I have a golden pineapple from "Nanu Nana", a golden coral & clear blessing jar both from "Xenos", and two small picture frames for decoration.

Let's move on to my latest makeup collection:

Last time when I posted about my make up collection was back in 2013  (check it out). I will try to update you with my collection every year now. I store all of them in different several drawers of the vanity table.
